Adoption Love Blog Roll

I remember when I first started this blog I was overwhelmed by the number of other adoption bloggers out there. I thought I was being fairly clever, starting a blog to spread the word about our hopes to adopt. I wasn't alone though. How would our blog ever be seen?! My hope with this link-up is that some of you will feel less overwhelmed. I love adoption! All forms of it. And I love reading about other people's adoption journeys. So whether you're waiting to adopt, adopting domestically or internationally, a foster family, been blessed by adoption in your past. etc., if you blog about adoption, here's your chance to share the adoption love!

A few rules:
1. Your blog must be related to adoption in some way (duh).

2. I will do my best to visit and read from every blog link posted. If I find your blog diminishes my attempts to share the "adoption love" (example- you write an anti-adoption blog), you will be removed.

3. Once you've posted your link, head over to at least one other blog you've never read and leave a comment.
4. Optional: Add our button to your blog to direct your readers back to the Adoption Love Blog Roll.

Adoption Love

  1. Kristen, I think this is a great idea. I have been following your blog for some time now and you were part of why I decided to post regularly about our journey to adopt and keep it up to date. I am so happy for you and Josh to have adopted your sweet baby girl Squeaks. You have been an inspiration to myself on this road to motherhood. I invite you to read about our blog. While it was first based on my infertility, it will lead into our decision to adopt and how we're moving ahead on the road to a family of three. We have just completed our 1st month of the big wait and are in the networking stage. We are currently working with Facebook on ads, posting boosts, Google Ads, registering with adoption specific sites as well as sending out physical letters to friends and family for sharing. I am also in the process of creating "pass along business cards". All we need is one birthmother to make our dream of a baby come true. Thank you for doing this Link-up and giving others of us hope out there. Stef & Nick

  4. Hello Kristen! I just found your blog and love it! We are 'expecting' a baby through domestic adoption. We have been officially waiting since April of 2014, but as you know, the longing for children has been there for much longer than those few months. I would love to link up with you. I'm really pretty new at this blog thing though and I'm not quite sure how to do that. I do have a blog. Here is the address: http://livingandlearningasigo.blogspot.com/ Thank you for being so open and honest about your journey. I was encouraged by your posts. This waiting this gets awful lonely some days and it was great to read thoughts that I've had too. It makes you feel not quite so alone. :)

  14. Man I am such a dope! I am trying to figure out how to add the button for the link posts and it appears beyond me! I would love to join. I am waiting to adopt again and have been waiting five years. I have a large family and all of my children some of whom are now adults all have disabilities. My blog is about a number of things....some is about my quest to adopt again, some of it relates to issues around disabilities and the rest is about our day to day lives of a large family. Does this fit with what you want linked to? My blog is tricia-themama.blogspot.com

    1. Hi Tricia! Yes you are absolutely welcome to add your blog. Thank you for participating. If you look under the thumbnails for all the other blogs that have linked up, there should be a small blue button that says "Add your link". Just push that and follow the instructions. Have fun!

  16. I have two blogs about adoption. The first is www.bittersweetadventures.com which is about being a foster adopt parent. The second is www.lynnsollitto.wordpress.com where I am telling my journey to becoming an adoptive mom.

I'd love to participate in this linkup! Is it still active?
